Our little boy's adventures

Papa and Mummy brought me to Hong Kong Disneyland, and boy, did I have the best time! I think my favourite moments were meeting Mickey Mouse himself! Second best were the fireworks... BOOM BOOM BOOM! Papa and Mummy bought the annual pass, and i'm definitely looking forward to visiting Mickey Mouse and gang again!

I'm always happy when there is a birthday cake and candles somewhere. Sometimes, someone will buy a cake and we will blow candles just for the fun for it. Today, however, it is Papa's birthday, and it was great singing the song and blowing out the candles (at the same time, get my saliva all over the cake so i get to eat more of it!). Happy Birthday Papa! May you enjoy good health (which you can easily obtain by coming home earlier everyday to play with me)!

Today I turn two, and everyone comes to celebrate with me with lotsa presents. I'm such a blessed boy to be surrounded by loving grandparents, aunts, and uncle on this special day. I'm a big boy now... ask me how old i am, and i will proudly show you with my fingers - TWO! Mind you, not the terrible twos, but the Terrific Twos!

It's been some time since Mummy had time to upload any new pictures. See what a big boy I am now! Unfortunately, my Lunar New Year began with a series of accidents - falls, burns, scraps, etc - the most serious being a fall on my nose on the first day of CNY, which you can see from the pix. But like the brave boy I am, I took it rather well, and in fact, had lots of fun with visiting this year. Happy Year of the Rat to all!

It's Mummy's birthday and we are going to Sentosa to celebrate cos that's the furthest we cld prob get away from Singapore without Papa and Mummy going crazy trying to take care of me! But it was the perfect holiday... with the sun, sand and the sea, not to mention Song of the Sea and Underwater World, and the beautiful hotel, what more could i have asked for? I think Mummy enjoyed her birthday... happy birthday Mummy!

My very first cruise! I got to have unlimited porridge at one of the restaurants, and eat off Papa's and Mummy's plates at all others, so i tried all kinds of new foods. I also got to swim for the very first time! And perhaps cos i looked so handsome in my swimsuit, i attracted quite a bit of female attention...! Too bad it was such a short holiday!

Summer Place is really where Potok (or Mummy's Popo, or Popo's Mummy, haha!) and Lak Mai Po and Nee Mai Po stays. They missed me so Papa and Mummy took me there for a visit. Hey they had a backyard and stairs, so i had such a fun time exploring and climbing up and down the stairs AND the furniture. Turns out stairs were not too difficult to navigate after all... another skill learnt! Papa, Mummy, I think i'm ready for rock climbing!

Mummy took me to Vivocity to check out the playground for kids. Turns out they are mostly for the bigger kids, but i was really interested in the water fountain. Mummy decided to let me have my fun, so she stripped me naked (except for my bottom of cos) so i could crawl around and have a wet and wild party... call me (or Mummy) crazy but i had the best time!

Mummy has been taking me to Botanic Gardens on her days off from work and sometimes, Popo and Gong Gong comes along too. Yehhh... these outings are the best! What can be better than fresh air, lots of greenery and the company of Mummy, Popo and Gong Gong? And i get to meet 2 new friends as well...

Wow wee, i'm one year old today! I celebrated it at home with my parents, grandparents and aunt - basically, all my favourite pple who love me most. I received so many cool presents today... but most importantly, i was showered with lots of attention today. This birthday thingy is really something special huh? Mummy, can I have another birthday next week??? But hmm...that wldn't make it special anymore rite? Thank you everyone for all your well wishes, pressies, time and attention... i'm the luckiest boy in the world!

I love playing with water so if there is a cup of water or opened water bottle around, you can be sure that i'll be scrambling over to get my hands into it. Mummy decided to give me a pail of water with some of my cups and a sponge to get as wet as i want. It was so much fun!!! Papa Mummy, when are you guys taking me to the pool???

Mummy thought i have been cooped up in the house for too long, so she and Papa decided to bring me to Botanic Gardens to have a whiff of fresh air and roll in the grass! Roll in the grass? Haha... yah right... Grass in Singapore not as nice as grass in London. At least that's what Papa says. So no grass rolling allowed! But I still had fun anyway... Mother Nature is the best!

Wow... my first CNY has been loads of fun! Lotsa angpows to get and and pple to meet, new clothes to wear, going gai gai all day long and best of all... extended curfew and bedtime! Think this shall be my favourite holiday from now on. :)

Mummy sometimes wish that our home is neater and looks more like a page out of some home interior magazine, but i like it just the way it is cos there are so many places for me to climb up and down - everyone is always having a hard time trying to catch me before i fall down. :P No need for Gymboree, Kindermusik, or other hosh posh children's play centres for me thank you... home is the best place for me to be!

One morning during breakfast time, i was eyeing Mummy's instant noodles for such a long time that Mummy finally took pity on me and gave me a few strands. I got to eat them on my own using my fingers! Though it was a challenge to get it in my mouth... Mine look kinda "cleaner" than the ones in Mummy's bowl. Think Mummy washed mine before giving to me. But it was still nice and chewy! Yummy yummy...

I got to attend 2 weddings in the past couple of months. One, my Da Gu's, and the other, Mummy's cousin's. I love weddings! There are always so many nice things to see... especially the beautiful brides!

Papa had to go on a business trip to London for 3 weeks and since Mummy couldn't bear the thought of both of us not seeing him for that long, we decided to go too! I had a wonderful time staying in the hotels (Mummy was pretty bored on some days though) and the air is so cool and fresh. Alas, I got severe eczema over there, but no worries, once back in Singapore, it got better. Can't wait to go again!!!

Usually Mummy gives me my morning bath in my little baby bathtub but sometimes when Daddy is free during weekends (and IF he wakes up early enough), he will take me to the bathroom to have a shower...just like a grown-up! Check out how I look like in the shower here...

Daddy and Mummy love to splurge on things for me, especially books, since they are book-lovers for me. So here I am reading with my new buddy Baby Eeyore. By the way, this is the 4th (5th? ...have lost count!) froggy book that Daddy has selected for me... a bit of overdose on frogs don't you think? Although this one comes with all kinds of cool textures and flaps for me to play with. But next time, Daddy, a different animal please! :)

Yeh, my Yeye is taking me to the revolving restaurant... and yes, it really spins! He says that he and Mak Mak used to bring Daddy here when he was a little boy like me at least once a week, if not twice. But Daddy doesn't remember coming here at all... haha... Well, if i forget abt coming here when i become an old man like Daddy, at least i have these photos to remind me!

Mummy and Daddy bought me a Bumbo chair! It is supposed to help me sit upright so that I can learn to sit by myself more quickly (and I'm almost there!). It's great... now I can look all around me instead of just up at the boring ceiling, and my motor skills are improving so I can also start fiddling with whatever is placed next to me. Don't you think I look even more like a prince, sitting in my golden throne?

Mummy has been too busy with house moving and work and taking care of me (ahem!) to update this lil photo album of mine. Not to mention the camera has been buried in one of the boxes and was only uncovered last week. Thank gdness for Papa's camera phone, or these few weeks would have gone past without any photos taken of me... and as you will see, i have lost a bit of weight . So it's bye bye to chubby wubby baby and hello to handsome hunk!

This Saturday morning, I was greatly disturbed that my best pal Octy was on one side of the bed, and I, on the other! And despite my best efforts to reach my dearest Octy, my arms failed me.... boo hoo hoo.... :( Ah well, guess i must start doing daily push ups from now on!

WOw... Daddy's and Popo's birthdays within a week. That means lots of chances for me to go "gai-gai"... yehhh!!!! Happy Birthday Daddy and Popo! May you be in good health and enjoy abundance (so you can buy more presents for me too...haha!)!

Mummy could not resist starting this album just about me dressed up as a little bumblebee! It was specially for the grand occasion of an early Mothers' Day celebration dinner with my dear Mama, Daddy's Mummy, who has been helping to take care of me... and boy, was she and everyone else delighted with my bumblebee outfit and my shiny head! Happy Mothers' Day to all mothers! Mothers truly make this world a better place to be in...May your love for your children fill your hearts with joy and warmth so that everyday is a glorious day!

Daddy decided that I should get my hair shaved to make a "mao tai bi", which is a brush made of MY hair, and is supposed to help me get my A's next time! Coincidentally, the next available appointment is on Vesak Day itself so I got my head shaved that morning. Hmm, i wonder if that is a sign for my future path? Anyway, now I am a botak baby...haha.... And later in the evening, Daddy gave me a flower bath all by himself! Actually, Mummy refused to help him so he would learn how to take care of me. I think he did quite a good job actually... Three cheers for Daddy!

Yippee yeh! Daddy got a wonderful discount for a 3D2N stay to Sentosa Rasa Hotel so I got to go on my first overseas (literally) trip! We had a super time... Daddy and Mummy loved the food and the family time, and I loved the big comfy bed and the nice cold aircon (!). I hated the sun though... guess i'm a bit too young for beaches. Anyway, it was a fantastic holiday... may there be more to come in the future!

I'm a big boy now! Just celebrated my first month 2 days ago by going to my grandparents' house to pray to the ancestors, and i met many many furry friends (refer to pic on left) there who have been dying to see me since i was born! Then we went to a restaurant where there were so many pple, that i decided to fall asleep cos it was just too much to handle (!!!). I got lots of awesome pressies that day but I was so tired out that when i was back home, i slept and slept. So did Mummy and Daddy! Check out my new orange shirt in the morning and my yellow jumper later in the day. Mummy also took a zillion shots of me today for fun... don't i look cuter than ever? =)

Mummy usually doesn't join me for my bath. She is the one who gives me my yummy milk whereas it's Daddy's job to bathe me with Grandma's help and also to change my diapers. But today Mummy sits in for the first time to take a look - and snap a few pictures at the same time... here are the pics totally uncensored!
